In this week’s episode I share the red hot truth about self-love.

I believe this topic needs to be at the top of your list because so many others things in your life hinge on it.

If you struggle to love yourself, this seeps into every aspect of your life. It seeps into your relationships with others. It impacts how well you do in your business. It affects the type of clients you attract or repel.

If you don’t love and believe in yourself and your worth than it is extremely challenging to believe that others in the world would.

Click play to watch this week’s episode and learn 5 ways to call in self love.

On a scale of 1-10, 1 being not at all and 10 being utterly and completely, how much do you love yourself?

That may seem like a strange question; however, in my opinion and experience it is the most important question you can ask yourself.

You can only give what you have, so keeping your self-love cup overflowing is a non-negotiable! Peroid.

Some of you may be good or even great at this; however, most of the people, women in particular, that I work with need some support in this area…. a lot of support, actually.

These are 5 areas that I have found to help support you in calling self-love into your life.

      1. Loving Self-Talk

Pay attention to what you say to yourself about yourself. Talk to yourself like you would talk to someone you love. Thoughts are things and they have an impact on your internal state of being. They have an impact on your emotional state, which is the vibration you produce. Like attracts like, so your vibration is key to what and who you attract.

      2. Self-Care

You cannot give what you don’t have. Giving is amazing; however, you also have to receive. Truly loving yourself requires taking care or yourself, and it requires allowing others to take care of you as well. This may blow your mind, but you should be doing something EVERY day that fills up your cup, even if it’s for just a couple of minutes. Meditate, exercise, take a bath, play with your dog, have sex, lock yourself in the bathroom for 2 minutes. Whatever it takes! When we are depleted, it is almost impossible to love ourselves.

      3. Boundaries

Boundaries are not a dirty word. No is not a dirty word. If fact, no can be a beautiful, empowering, loving word! When you say no to one thing, you are saying yes to something else. And that something else is YOU! How many times have you said yes to someone when you really wanted to say no and then became totally pissed off and resentful? 5, 20, 100? Say no to the things that do not serve you, that do not align with your goals and that do not align with who you are. You will love yourself so much more if you do.

      4. Cleanse

I don’t mean go on a cleanse. Cleanse your life of “frenemies.” One of my clients just said this word to me, and I had never heard it before, but now it’s one of my new favorite words. You most likely have had a frenemy at some point in your life. A frenemy is a person in your life that’s ‘fun’ to hang out with; however, they really don’t support you in any way.

This is a person who will bring you down until you demand better of yourself. Basically, until you love yourself. Get rid of the frenemies immediately. Be particular about who you surround yourself with. Surround yourself with people who love you, support you, nurture you and pour into you.

      5. Forgive Yourself

In my opinion, the inability to forgive yourself is the #1 roadblock to self-love. If you can’t forgive yourself for past mistakes then self-love will be impossible. Take an inventory of mistakes you’ve had in your life that you still beat yourself up about.

Forgive yourself. Failure is only your inability to grow and learn from something. That’s it. We all make mistakes and we all have the ability to grow and learn from them. Have compassion for yourself!
